Continuing Education for DCs

The actual states that offer CEUs on a particular course can vary, so please check the course offer for the states listed and approved.

Online CEUs for Chiropractors are sponsored by Texas Chiropractic College and typically include the following states: AK, AL, CO, CT, DC, DE, GA, IA, ID, IN, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NV, OH, OR, RI, SC, SD, UT, VT, VA, WA, WY. 

We may include other states in individual course applications, so again, please check the specific course offering. 

Each course has a 1 year expiration and enrollees must complete the course before the expiration date to receive credit.

FL chiropractic enrollees must provide a copy of their valid driver's license to meet FCA Board requirements. 

As of 2023 updates, we only offer online relicensing credits for DCs, sponsored by Texas Chiropractic College. Chiropractors are the largest segment of our clients requiring credits, with Acupuncturists close behind. We hope to expand into Acupuncture PDAs through NACCOM in the future. 

Online Courses - once you have completed all segments of an online course and passed the exam (2 questions per credit hour) with a 90% or better, your CEU certificate will automatically be produced and you can download the document and save to your desktop. 

Live Webinars - CEU certificates for live webinars and seminars are processed through Texas Chiropractic College and take 3-6 weeks to receive them (via email - search "txchiro" in your inbox, junk, spam and promotions). You must stay live and active on the webinar and pass the exam (2 questions per credit hour) with a 90% or better, or credit will be reduced or negated by TCC. Our software provides reports of log-in and log-out times by name. 

The cost to offer profession-specific relicensing credits to various HCPs is expensive and we strive to keep our course fees affordable. We hope to expand into Acupuncture PDAs through NACCOM in the future, however, the states of CA and FL have their own Acupuncture Boards and required separate fees and filings. We will assess the total cost to serve all acupuncturists when we make a decision to offer credits. 

Of course. Many chiropractors and other licensed healthcare practitioners attend CEU seminars on a regular basis for license renewal. If you have already paid for CEU/PDA nutrition seminars that are sponsored by an accredited chiropractic college, NCCAOM or acupuncture board, and you have the official transcript or voucher approving the credit, then yes, we can retroactively transfer previous CEU credits into your ACN certification. Here is the fine print - in order to remain relevant and fair to the process, transfer CEU credits cannot be more than 2 years old.

There are many sites that offer CEU programming, but first and foremost, all courses considered for credits within our certification programs must be focused in nutrition and sponsored by an accredited chiropractic college. TCC uses CE Cruncher as an authorized supplier of chiropractic continuing education. These courses are post-graduate level and in a higher price category than our offerings.

Standard Process’s education site, Wholistic Matters offers free 1 unit CEU courses through New York Chiropractic College. These credits will be accepted with proper documentation.

Lastly, if health care practitioners have taken a nutrition course approved for PDAs through NCCAOM or another acupuncture governing body, TCC will accept those as transfer CEUs, so long as you provide clear proof of attendance and the number of PDA credits received. All CEU and elective credit submissions will need to be made on the eLearning platform after you log into your account.

There are some incredible programs out there - learning that would fit very nicely in our Elective Study portion of the ACN program (20 hours). We encourage nutrition-based organizations and health and nutrition speakers to connect with us regarding their offerings so we can review them for content and pre-approve Elective Study credits. We also encourage our enrollees to submit requests for programs they would like considered for Elective Study.

We may provide a conditional approval for some electives while we ensure learning and review the material. We may also insist on a detailed submission including key learning and application of concepts. Although we are always reviewing additional programs, the following collaborators have pre-approved credits:

• Weston A Price: Wise Traditions Annual Conference (electives only, hours vary depending on program selection)
• IFNH: Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition (CCWFN), 100-hr Certification (23 credits can be applied to CEUs with documentation, 20 hrs toward electives)
• Society of Wellness Nutritional Systems: Functional Herbal Therapy Course with Lee Carroll (24 hours can be applied to CEUs with documentation and 20 hours toward electives)
• Society of Wellness Nutritional Systems: Functional Nutrition Therapy Course with Jenn Franco (18 hours can be applied to CEUs with documentation and 20 hours toward electives)
• Gaeta Communications: Autoimmune Mastery Program, Endocrine Mastery Program, Cardiovascular Mastery and Cancer Support and Prevention (a portion can be applied to CEUs with documentation and remaining hours up to 20 hours toward electives).
• Wholistic Matters: Professional Development CEU Courses (may apply 1 CEU or Elective hour for each completed course, submit completion document)
